Irrigon is a city in Morrow County, Oregon, United States, on the Columbia River and U.S. Route 730. Irrigon was incorporated on February 28, 1957. The Umatilla Chemical Depot and the Umatilla Chemical Agent Disposal Facility are located four miles south of the city, northeast of the intersection of I-84 and I-82. Three miles west of Irrigon is the Irrigon Hatchery. The population was 1,702 at the 2000 census. Irrigon is part of the Pendleton–Hermiston Micropolitan Statistical Area.
