Greenville is a town located in south central Outagamie County, Wisconsin, United States. It is one of 18 communities that form the basis of the Fox Cities, the third largest metropolitan area in Wisconsin. The population was 6,844 at the 2000 census, however 2008 estimates place the population at 9,401. This accounts for a 147% growth in population since 1990. The unincorporated community of Greenville is located in the town. The ghost town of Wakefield was also located in the town.
